A little less than a hundred pages to go...

So, I don't know how far along in the book you are and I don't want to give anything away. That being said, I wish the author would have saved certain details for later in the book. When I got to the part I am speaking of---I was mad. I mean I figured it was going to happen sometime, but the way it happened really sucked. Anyways, I am sort of understanding the whole time travel thing now. It has to be thought of as a continuous loop, like reruns of a television show and he randomly appears in different episodes, but can't change the episode or any other episode because they have already been written and he is just an actor playing a role. How is that for an extended metaphor lol. That is how I have to think about it or else I get lost intime travel and lose the story. Well, I am almost done. I will blog again when I finish it.

Time Traveling

Ok....so the book is really great so far. I think I am really going to like it. I just can't wrap my head around his time traveling. I get that he goes in and out of time, but what he knows and doesn't know confuses me. The book jumps around a lot to0. It seems like everytime I get comfortable it switches. It is good though. I am sure I will get used to it.

Oh so special....

I absolutely hated the ending of Pretties!!! What the @#%*$!! Tally is a freaking Special now. UGH!! The book was really good though---aside from the ending. However, I could have done without the whole caveman part-it was super boring (exaggeration). I really want to read Specials now though. I wonder what happened to Zane??? I guess I will have to wait and see...

Anyhow, I bought The Time Traveler's Wife and will be starting it tonight! YEAH ME!!!

This book is so bubbly....

So, I didn't think I would like this book at first. I mean I thought it would be OK, but I thought the language sounded ridiculous. Well, I was wrong. I love it. It is a great book. I am a few chapters past part three. She is currently being praised by the hunters. The language-which I detested at first--is used to show that the pretties have a limited vocabulary and everything is-bogus or pretty-making, or brain-missing, crim , or bubbly. Once I realized the words were there for a reason, it made sense to me. Anyways, I like this book and cannot wait to read The Time Traveler's Wife and then Specials. I looked for TTW at Target yesterday, but it wasn't there. I'll pop into Border's this weekend and see if I can find it!

Finished....

So, I finished the book last night. Without giving anything away...I thought the ending sucked. I kind of want to read the second one now. However, I read the teaser and the language is sort of annoying. What the heck does bubbly mean? They don't use it to mean the quality of bubbles or happy -go-lucky either. Read it and you will see what I mean. Overall, I would give this book 3.9 out of 5 stars---5 being the best thing I have ever read. What shall we conquer next??

Half Way Through...

I have to say that this was a pretty good choice---(good job coin). It is so interesting. I won't say what is going on right now except for that it is about to get c-r-a-z-y!!! I feel so bad for her. She has been through the ringer, but she never gave up. This writer must be a genius--the fight between socialism and radicalism (the smoke) with the heroine trying to choose a side. It is great!

Moving On!! YEAH!!

Ok, Wuthering Heights was not terrible as far as a major literary work is concerned. However, itwas a very slow read for the summer. It would have been better to read in the winter, when snowed in with nothing else to do but cuddle up by the fire with a book. I am excited about reading Uglies. I think it will be interesting and fast-paced. My type of book. Yeah!

Heathcliff is being quite a little rebel rouser (???) Edgar needs to grow a pair and either tell Catherine how it is going to be and be a man about it or Catherine needs to dump his butt because he is a weiner! I wish Heathcliff would have stomped his butt when he had the chance. Haha!!! I loves it!

Ok, so I am getting ready to start chapter 9 and I really like the book. I am not seeing where it is going. I don't want to give anything away, but I feel very sorry for little Heathcliff. I get lost in all the characters and their relations-who is related to whom and how. It's confusing. I guess I should just ignore all that and focus on the main stuff. Anyways, it is a great book. Good Choice!

Ok. I started reading Wuthering Heights. I finished the first chapter. I think it is going to be an easy read. It is pretty easy to understand and seems to read quickly. I thought it was funny how the dogs attacked him for making faces at them. Haha. Heathcliff seems like a terd. We'll just have to see!
